Meals & Nutrition
Along with several other local nurseries and primary schools, our hot lunch is provided by Ideal School Meals. The meals are well balanced, nourishing and the menu is varied to accommodate seasonal fluctuations.
Our menus change termly, however below is a sample menu to give you an idea of the type of food offered. Copies of the exact menu can be found at the Nursery for your perusal.

- Chocolate Sponge & Chocolate Sauce

- Macaroni Cheese
- Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard

- Fish Fingers and Chips

A “cold tea” is served in late afternoon, where children have a large selection of sandwich fillings, beans on toast, crumpets, soup, etc. Where appropriate, children are encouraged to choose and help prepare and to tidy away after meals.

Naturally food is monitored closely to ensure it meets government guidelines, such as 5 a day, etc. We will do our utmost to comply with special dietary needs and respect all religious and medical requirements.
Food Hygiene Award
On 18th December 2018 our kitchen areas were inspected as part of the North Kesteven District Council’s Food Business Hygiene Scheme and in line with the Food Safety Act 1990. Following their inspection we are pleased to announce we were awarded a Very Good Food Hygiene Rating.
