Our Nursery
Woodside Childrens Nursery has been caring for children since 2005
Nursery proprietor, Katie Wood, started out as a fully qualified child minder moving on to open Woodside Childrens Nursery in the heart of Sleaford which now employs up to 16 staff and looks after up to 150 children between the ages of 0 to 11 years. The Nursery is open between 7am and 6pm from Monday to Friday and offers full time and part time care and education to meet all the needs of families in and around Sleaford with young children. All the team at Woodside Childrens Nursery are experienced in childcare with relevant qualifications in their field. Each team member has an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check carried out before they are employed at the Nursery.

We ensure that every child is given an equal opportunity to learn through high quality play experiences and we value the importance of parent partnerships. We believe in building good positive relations with our families and providing fun and exciting indoor and outdoor activities following the Early Years Foundation Framework. Play is vital for children. It helps them to understand the world around them and it is through play that our children learn, develop at their own pace and have fun with adults who understand, support and care about them.

Full days only for 0-2 year olds, Full day and half days for 2 – 3 year olds, Funded Session times for 2 year funding
2-3 Year Olds

Full or half day sessions, funded session times available for 15 & 30 Government funding
3-4 Year Olds

4-11 Year Olds
Early Birds
Breakfast Club
Children taken to school, breakfast is included for children arriving between 7 am and 7.30 am. Children are then taken to St. Andrew’s CoE Primary School in Leasingham.
4-11 Year Olds
Night Owls
After School Club
Children are collected from St. Andrew’s CoE Primary School in Leasingham and return to Woodside for tea and after-school care.
